About Ella
Healing from trauma is not about forgetting what happened to you. It's about finding a way to carry your story without it carrying you. If the past still shows up in your present, through anxiety, through anger, through a sadness you can't quite explain, I want you to know that you're not broken. You're responding to something real, and you deserve support in working through it.
I specialize in helping individuals process difficult experiences: childhood trauma, grief and loss, PTSD, complex trauma, and the kind of deep emotional pain that doesn't always have a name. Many of my clients come to me after years of trying to push through on their own. If that's you, I'm glad you're here.
I create a space that is compassionate, patient, and completely free of judgment. You set the pace. My role is to be a steady, grounding presence as you navigate the hard stuff. I will never push you to go somewhere you're not ready to go, but I will be right there with you when you are.
In our work together, we'll focus on: - Understanding how past experiences show up in your present relationships and patterns - Building safety and emotional regulation in your body and mind - Processing pain at a pace that feels right for you - Reconnecting with the strength and resilience that has carried you this far
Trauma work can feel daunting, but it doesn't have to be done alone. If you're ready to begin, or even just curious about what it might look like, I'd love to talk.

What is it like working with you?
Gentle but grounded. I won't push you to go somewhere you're not ready to go, but I will hold the space for you to get there when you are. I believe healing happens in relationship, and the relationship between us matters deeply. You'll always feel safe with me.
What do you like most about being a therapist?
The resilience I witness every single day. People come to therapy at their most vulnerable, and watching them reclaim their sense of self is the most meaningful work I can imagine. It never stops being powerful.
How do you take care of your own mental health?
Art, movement, and community. I paint when I need to process, I move my body when I need to reset, and I lean on the people I love when I need support. Therapists need care too, and I take that seriously.
What would you say to someone nervous about starting therapy?
I hear this a lot, and it makes complete sense. Talking about painful things with a stranger is a big ask. What I can tell you is that we go at your pace. You don't have to share your whole story in the first session, or even the fifth. We start wherever you feel comfortable, and we build from there.
What inspires your work outside of therapy?
Art, honestly. The way a painting or a piece of music can hold something that words can't quite capture. I think therapy works in a similar way. Sometimes the most important moments in a session aren't the things we say out loud, but the things we finally allow ourselves to feel.
