About Ifeoma
I believe that who you are is not a problem to be solved. It's something to be understood, explored, and celebrated. If you've ever felt like you had to shrink yourself to fit into spaces that weren't built for you, I want you to know that this space is different.
I work with individuals navigating identity, behavioural patterns, and the emotional weight of living in a world that doesn't always make room for who they are. Many of my clients are people exploring questions about cultural identity, gender identity, sexuality, or the intersection of all three. Others are working through substance use, behavioural patterns, or the aftereffects of living in environments where they couldn't be fully themselves.
My therapy is affirming, inclusive, and grounded in evidence. I don't approach our work with assumptions about who you should be. Instead, I'm curious about who you already are, and I'm committed to helping you build a life that honours that.
In our sessions, we'll work on: - Building self-awareness without self-judgment - Understanding the roots of patterns and behaviours that no longer serve you - Developing healthier coping strategies that actually fit your life - Finding your voice and learning to own your story unapologetically
If you're looking for a therapist who will see all of you, not just the parts that are easy to talk about, I'd love to work with you.

What is it like working with you?
Authentic and affirming. I show up as my full self and I invite you to do the same. I'm not here to fix you. I'm here to help you see what's already strong in you and build from there. You'll always feel respected and valued in our sessions.
What do you like most about being a therapist?
Being a safe person for someone who hasn't had many. When a client tells me "this is the first time I've said this out loud," that's everything. That trust is sacred, and I hold it with the care it deserves.
How do you take care of your own mental health?
Community, creativity, and rest. I write, I spend time with people who fill my cup, and I give myself permission to slow down. Mental health isn't a destination. It's a daily practice, and I try to live that honestly.
How do you approach the first session?
I start by getting to know you. Not your diagnosis, not your symptoms, but you. What matters to you, what brought you here, what you're hoping for. I also want you to get a sense of me, because the fit between therapist and client matters more than any technique. If it feels right, we keep going. If not, I'll help you find someone who's a better match.
What does healing look like to you?
Healing looks like freedom. Not the absence of pain, but the ability to move through the world without being controlled by it. It looks like being able to say what you need, set boundaries that protect your peace, and show up as yourself without apologizing for it.
