About Shehroz
If you're here, you've already done the hardest part: deciding that something needs to change. That takes real courage, and I want you to know it doesn't go unnoticed.
I founded OurSpace Clinic because I believe everyone deserves access to therapy that actually understands them. Not just their symptoms, but their story. Your cultural background, your family dynamics, the experiences that shaped how you see the world. All of it matters, and all of it belongs in the room.
I work with individuals navigating relationship challenges, trauma, cultural identity, anxiety, and depression. Many of my clients are people who have felt unseen or misunderstood in other spaces. If that resonates with you, I want you to know: you belong here.
In our sessions together, we'll focus on: - Identifying the patterns and beliefs that are keeping you stuck - Building on the strengths you already have (because you have more than you think) - Developing practical, lasting strategies for real change - Creating space for the emotions that need to be felt and processed
Therapy with me feels like a real conversation. I'm direct when it helps and gentle when you need it. I won't sit silently with a clipboard. I'll be present, engaged, and genuinely invested in your growth. If you're ready to take that first step, I'd be honoured to walk alongside you.

What is it like working with you?
Working with me feels like having a real conversation with someone who genuinely cares. I'm direct but compassionate. I'll gently challenge you when it helps, and I'll hold space when you need it. Building trust comes first, because I believe the therapeutic relationship is the foundation of all meaningful change.
What do you like most about being a therapist?
Witnessing those moments when someone sees themselves differently for the first time. When a client realizes they're stronger than they thought, or that the pattern they've been stuck in doesn't have to define them. Those moments remind me why I do this work every single day.
How do you take care of your own mental health?
I'm a big believer in practicing what I preach. I stay active, spend time with family, and make sure I have my own space to decompress. I also see my own therapist, because we all need someone in our corner.
What would you say to someone nervous about starting therapy?
That nervousness is completely normal, and honestly, it's a sign that you care about getting better. You don't need to have everything figured out before your first session. You don't even need to know what to say. Just show up as you are. That's enough.
What drew you to this field?
Growing up, I saw how many people in my community struggled in silence because therapy felt foreign or inaccessible. I wanted to change that. I wanted to build something where people could get help that actually understood their lived experience, not just their diagnosis.
